Earned Raid Points (ERP) is a point system designed to allow all those that attend a raid a chance to win something, with the option to use points to help increase their chances. It also allows those who have gone to more raids, a little better chance to gain needed equipment for their chars with the view to help better the guild in the future. With the ERP system, all will get a chance to win.
Players are allowed to win 1 item (in which ERP is used to win) per raid Target / Event. Any item drops (that are won via ERP) that occur on the way to / while clearing to the designated target are considered part of that Target / Event.
ERP is not a means for you to gain a point for showing up and then leaving when mobs that drop loot best suited for your class are gone, such as in a Planes raids, then spend another 3 or 4 hours online grinding the night away somewhere else. If you go to a raid, plan to stay unless life obligations must pull you from us or the raid is over. People abusing the system will not be tolerated and if caught will be dealt with accordingly.
- ONLY raids that are posted events to the Guild Calendar may earn ERP points.
- 1 point for attending the raid when it starts, and
- 1 point for being there when it ends, and
- 1 point for every 3 continuous hours attending a raid.
- Leaving the raid for an hour will reset a player's 3 hour timer.
Examples: Person attends entire raid that lasts 6 hours = 4 points (1 start ERP + 1 end ERP + 2 for 6 hours/3 ERP per hour.)
Person shows up late for raid and leaves early but stays 6 hours = 2 points
Person shows up late for raid and it ends 1 hour later = 1 point (1 end ERP)
ERP(s) for the current raid are tallied at the end of the raid. They are not available for spending until the raid is over.
- Defining a 'Main' Character and 'Secondary' Characters
- The character you bring to the raid most often will be considered your main. (In essence your main is the character you raid with.)
- Any other characters will be considered secondary characters.
- If you bring more than one character to raids, (i.e. you play two at the same time), you still must choose which character will be your main.
- Spending ERP(s), ERP Raids, and Guild Lottos
- ERP(s) may be spent on ANY GUILD raid lotto where an officer is present, and verifies ERP usage. This includes rare spawn and unscheduled event raids.
- Each ERP point bid may add 10 bonus points to a 1-10 base lotto, these points are only spent if the person bidding wins the lotto.
- Items that are won by default will cost a minimum of 1 ERP. Meaning if a player wins the item by default or due to no one else wanting that item, it will cost the player 1 ERP.
- If a player wins without bidding any points, he still spends 1 ERP point.
- When a lotto occurs, if you choose to lotto, you call your points or choose to lotto 1-10. If you call your points with 10, then your roll is 1-100. You will still be required to have points to enter a lotto. If you have 0 points or negative points, you may not enter a lotto. Default loots are always allowed regardless of point totals.
- A player may NOT participate in a lotto unless they have been on the raid from the start or at least a minimum of one (1) hour
- On a raid with level restrictions, a player must meet those restrictions to be in the Lotto and spend ERP(s) UNLESS that player is specifically exempted prior to the raid beginning and/or was specifically asked to be there with permission given to be in on any lottos.
- ERP Buyouts
Some people attend many raids and do so to help others. Therefore these people don’t take part in many lotto's due to reasons such as they would rather see items go to others, or the items that drop will not upgrade what they currently have. Due to this they may build up a significant number of points.
- A person can use an item that drops and has 25 ERP saved up they will have the option to buy it with no contest.
- When a person uses 25 points that automatically invokes the buyout rule. The 25 point rule will scale by 25 points, so if you have 50+ points you will be able to buyout for 50. If you have 75, then you can buyout for that amount. The only time a lotto roll occurs is when two people wish to buyout at the same value range, then they are allowed to put in their points and roll evenly. When people put in points in 25 increments, it locks out the lotto from people who are using less points. Additionally, if for example someone opts to spend 75 points on an item, but the next best bid is 25 points, then that person only spends 50 points to loot the item.
- Example 1:
Chain Legs drops
- Cudget puts in 25 (He has 28 total points)
- Vato puts in 31 (He has 37 total points)
Then the roll would be Cudget 1-250, Vato 251-560.
The roll is made, it ends up 399, and Vato wins legs.
Example 2: Plate BP drops
- Dief puts in 59 points (He has 63 points)
- Kinsonn puts in 30 points (He has 54 points)
- Yilelien puts in 25 points (He has 29 points)
Dief loots with 59 points (50 spent)
Secondary Looting Rules
- Secondary Characters are allowed to bid on loot only when no main characters want to spend the points to get what has dropped.
- Secondary Characters in attendance at the raid will bid for items following the guidlines above (using the ERP pool of the main character).
- Secondary Characters who are ran at the same time as the main, regardless of need or usefulness, are NOT exempted from these rules.
Non-Guild Members and ERP
Non-Guild participants in raids will be allowed in on respective lottos as according to our general lotto rules, and will be allowed in with the same chance and others who have not attended prior raids with us. (In short meaning they are in lotto with a 1-10 chance) Guests will not be eligible to win breastplates/robes, or legs unless there are no guild members in attendance that need and the item is no drop.
Non-Guild Members and Raid attendance
Any guests that are invited to a raid must be verified with raid leader / officers before "attending" a raid. Anyone not authorized to participate in the raid will not have rights to any lottos that are held.
Unclaimed Items
Any items that no one in attendance can / will use will be placed in the guild bank. New items entered into the bank will then be posted to the guild forums (in some cases the item may have a set erp value associated with it), this item will be available to guild member mains for a period of 1 week, at wich time alternate characters will be eligible to get / purchase the item. After 2 weeks time the guild will be open to sell the item outside of the guild.
Discretionary Loot Officer Rule
The loot officer has the right to limit lottos based on what is seen as a reasonable limitation in regards to special abilities of an item such as Haste, Focus abilities or Flowing Thought. When this is the invoked the loot officer will let the people know as part of the lottoing procedure.
Points Announcement
Points offered by members for a lotto will not be shown until a lotto is ready to be rolled, this is includes people who are entering with values high enough to be a buyout. People who fall within certain value ranges for example 25-49 will roll against each, but will not have an opportunity to up their bid. This is to encourage people to use points that they think they want to risk for an item.
Multi-Quest Armor Costs
Acquiring MQed quest items from the item bank will cost variable points based on the type of item. Most will be 1 point, the following list will be other values.
Skyshrine Quest Armor
Bracer 2 points
Helm, Boots, and Gloves 4 points
Arms 5 points
Legs 7 points
BP/Robe 10 points

Changing Mains
Changing of a main character is obviously not something that will be encouraged, but it is understood that it happens occasionally. The first time someone changes their main character, they will do so at no penalty. However, each time after that will result in a complete wipe of all ERP they have acquired. Changing of mains is not something to take lightly, and we prefer that you stay with the same main after joining the guild.
